We are now automatically extending expiring licenses for Ukrainian consumers at no additional cost.

For the time being, we are keeping our technical support in Ukraine operational in case new threats arise.

ESET Researchers were the first to discover a new type of wiper malware detected in Ukraine. We continue to monitor the situation actively.

As part of our effort to support affected regions, the ESET Foundation donated €500,000 to the INTEGRA Foundation and UNICEF Ukraine.

ESET R&D centers are located in 13 cities: Bratislava, Košice, and Žilina (Slovakia); San Diego (U.S.); Buenos Aires (Argentina); Singapore (Singapore); Taunton (United Kingdom); Jablonec nad Nisou, Prague, and Brno (Czech Republic); Krakow (Poland); Montreal (Canada); and Iasi (Romania).

How would the potential for massive cyberattacks against Russia impact ESET’s ability to provide services in impacted areas?

ESET does not have any infrastructure in Russia or Ukraine; however, our customers might be impacted by an increase in cyberattacks.

How secure are ESET’s distributed IT assets (servers, backups, licensing, other)? What ISO norms do they comply with?

Our IT assets comply with ISO 27001, which requires that data centers be distributed in multiple countries and regions based on the product/process.

What other areas can ESET detail in regard to its own resilience, hardening, or business continuity?

ESET has both a business continuity plan and a disaster recovery plan in place for certain important products and services.

How is ESET helping organizations in Ukraine to better defend themselves against heightened cyberattacks?
