ESET, the leader in proactive digital protection - developing award-winning technology for more than 25 years, has successfully completed the March 2013 ICSA Labs Anti-Virus Program testing cycle under the Anti-Virus Desktop/Server Detection Criteria 4.1. All tested ESET security solutions scored 100 %. The testing on ESET® Endpoint Security version 5 for Windows 7 64 bit, ESET® Endpoint Security version 5 for Windows 8 64 bit and ESET NOD32® Antivirus 4 Business Edition version 4 (solution for Mac OS X) was performed using the January 2013 set from the WildList Organization International.
Furthermore, the latest Virus Bulletin VBSpam Test closes up the Spring’s testing and confirms that both business and home ESET products are continuously performing well. In the March’s Comparative Review, ESET® Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server has scored 99.68% in the Spam Catch Rate category, earning it another VBSpam Award.

“ESET prides itself on its excellent track record in the VB100 anti-malware certification tests. The company is a relative newcomer to the VBSpam tests, this being only its fourth participation, but what it may lack in quantity of submissions, it makes up for in quality: ESET has already achieved two VBSpam+ awards. With a high spam catch rate and the third highest score against the corpus of phishing e-mails, there is plenty of reason for ESET’s developers to celebrate their product’s fourth VBSpam award,“ states the Review.
